Heather Vincent

My name is Heather and I wear many hats like I'm sure many of you do. I am a mother, a military wife, sister, interior designer, personal assistant and very entrepreneur minded. I am currently working to add the hat Author to my collection because of the power I believe my children's book can bring to our youth. I was born in NY and have lived in a few different places over the years and experienced life on both coasts. I have also been traveling since high school. I have been to a few places internationally and look forward to seeing more places in the future. Due to my nontraditional education that has led me down more of an entrepreneur rode I became inspired to write my first children's book I regained my ability to dream about my future when I became an entrepreneur and this is what I want to pass on to our children. I have noticed that many people encourage children to dream, until a point then for some reason there is a switch and they tell the kids to be realistic or don't dream too big. I understand to an extent they may be attempting to protect the child from getting hurt or from being disappointed but I believe not working towards a dream is worse than trying and missing a goal. This belief is what has inspired me to write a story for children so they may see it is not only OK to dream at any age but Important!
